В Имеретинской низменности расположился уникальный заповедник – Природный орнитологический парк. В заповеднике создано и охраняется все многообразие географических зон Имеретинской низменности, которые являются важным местом для зимовки и гнездования многих видов птиц, в том числе и занесенных в Красную книгу России и Краснодарского края.
Общая площадь орнитопарка составляет 298,59 га. Она разделена на 14 кластеров, представляющих собой различные виды природных ландшафтов, от парковой зоны до озера и болотистой местности. На территории орнитологического комплекса за время его существования были обнаружены более 180 видов птиц.
